Cambrige ESOL

Cambridge ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) is a course offered by Leicester Business Academy as an affiliate of the University of Cambridge that provides qualifications for learners of English. The ESOL exams are well known for their high quality assessment of real English, as used in everyday work, study and leisure situations. The courses and tests offered include

KET (Key English Test)
This is an elementary level exam, testing your ability to deal with
basic written and spoken communications.
PET (Preliminary English Test)
PET is an intermediate level exam, testing your ability to cope
with everyday written and spoken communications.
FCE (First Certificate in English)
An upper intermediate level exam is FCE and it is ideal if you
can deal confidently with a range of written and spoken
communications.
CAE (Certificate in Advanced English)
An advanced exam - if you can communicate with confidence in
English for work or study purposes, this is the exam for you.
CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English)
CPE is a very advanced level exam in ESOL in which it is perfect
for an individual if you have achieved a high level of language
skills and are able to function effectively in almost any Englishspeaking
context.
