Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality

The travel, tourism and hospitality industry is today the largest and most dynamic sector within the global economy. Providing quality services in this sector requires management excellent in all the main functional business areas (finance, marketing, human resource management, and operations) as well as strategic leadership. ABE’s Travel, Tourism and Hospitality qualifications provide a pathway through which students can develop a combination of key business skills and industry knowledge for exciting careers which the industry offers.
Professional and University Recognition
Certificates at every stage of each programme (Certificate, Diploma Part 1, Diploma Part 2 and Advanced Diploma), ABE qualifications are recognised as accepted routes onto UK and overseas professional qualifications enabling holders to be exempted in certain subjects in the examinations of certain professional bodies

Duration of course; 1 year for each level
Method of Assessment
All subjects will be assessed by a written external examination of three hours duration.
Examination Structure
The Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Program is offered at Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma level. The subjects and requirements for each level are indicated below.
Certificate
To attain the Certificate in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality, the four compulsory papers listed below must be passed.

To attain Part 1 of the Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality, the four compulsory subjects listed below must be passed.

To attain Part 2 of the Diploma in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality, the three compulsory papers and two of the optional papers listed below must be passed.
