The Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Program is offered at Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma level. The subjects and requirements for each level are indicated below.

To attain the Certificate in Travel, Tourism & Hospitality, the four compulsory papers listed below must be passed.

Duration is 3 years minimum.

Duration
A flexible study period of 3-8 years is taken to complete the BSc in computing and information systems.
Assessment
Each unit is assessed by unseen written examination and coursework. A project must also be taken to complete the BSc
degree. Examinations are held once a year in Leicester Business Academy as well as in London. Examinations are held once a year, usually in May.

Classification
The degree are awarded with First Class Honours, Upper Second Class Honours, Lower Second Class Honours or Third Class Honours. If you do not qualify for Honours, you may be awarded a Pass classification. The standard of the examination for degrees is the same as that for students studying at College of the University.

Assessment
Each unit is assessed by one three-hour written examination and each half unit by one two-hour written examination. For the following three units coursework/a project also counts towards the assessment:

You do not have to come to London to take your examinations. Examinations are held once a year in Leicester Business Academy
as well as in London. Examinations are held once a year, usually in May or June.
Classification: The degrees are awarded with First Class Honors, Upper Second Class Honors, Lower Second Class Honors or Third Class Honors. If you do not qualify for Honors, you may be awarded a Pass classification.

In satisfying the entrance requirements for the BSc Management, applicants must be at least 17 years of age and must demonstrate that you have reached a level of competence in Mathematics at least equivalent to a pass at GCSE/GCE ‘O’ Level, at not less than grade C, in a mathematical subject. two subjects at GCE ‘A’ Level + at least three further subjects at GCSE or GCE ‘O’ Level (at not less than grade C or a ‘pass’ if taken prior to 1975) or three subjects at GCE ‘A’ Level + one further subject at GCSE or GCE ‘O’ Level (at not less than grade C) or two subjects at GCE ‘A’ Level + two further subjects at ‘AS’ Level
Applicants with other qualifications not listed above and/or suitable work experience will be considered by the University on an individual basis.

The college has two campuses about 12 minutes walk from each other. The kings street site which houses the main administration office, computer centres and specifically made for the professional business course. The other is the Matrix house campus where the rest of the majority of the other courses run from.

Since its commencement, Leicester Business Academy has provided an educational and professional development centre for both local and international students.We offer a comprehensive range of key professional courses in accountancy – ACCA, CIMA and SAGE ACCOUNTING– as well as offering courses in academic study areas such as Information Technology (IT), and Business. The school has a student population of over 200 and are all distributed within the said academic and professional courses.

Excellent and high quality undergraduate classes are also available for accredited courses and programmes in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Travel, Tourism and Hospitality, Health and Social Care. All these are provided by professional tutors who have immense knowledge and experience in their field of speciality. The college boast 2 well established computer labs with free internet browsing and online services for its students. Extra-curricular activities are arranged for students interested in sports like football and others.

Students also have the opportunity to join the national union of students which is the largest student regulating body in the U.K. and this would enable students to enjoy benefits such as discounts from most supermarkets and others.
