Do you want to be a social worker, home care organizer, teaching assistant, working with people with disability, counsellor, childminder etc then this is the course for you. Most of the courses offer work placements, providing opportunities for you to develop your practical skills.
The health and Social Care Early Years Level 3 course offered by the college is a vocationally related qualification with the awarding body being OCR. The course provides valuable skills and opportunities for individuals to gain knowledge, develop skills and increase their understanding which will support entry into work or progress to a higher education in the areas of Health / Nursing, Social Work and Early years/ Child Care Education. The qualifications are designed to enable students attain National Certificate, National Diploma or National Extended Diploma after completing six, twelve and eighteen units respectively. Completing six units for certificate leaves a student with six more to complete the diploma and subsequently twelve more to attain the extended diploma.
